A CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
UPDATE
Record Year for Annual Fund
Once again, the St. Paul’s School Annual Fund – which includes the Alumni
Fund and the Parents Annual Fund – made history. Together, the School’s
alumni and parents contributed more than $6 million to annual giving.
Alumni contributed more than $4 million, with 47% of alumni participating.
Not to be outdone, the Parents Annual Fund also set a record by raising
$2 million, with 83% of families participating. The Form of 1983 made the
largest gift ever to the Alumni Fund, with $351,000. The Form of 1988 was
not far behind, with a gift of $341,000, while the Form of 1993 set the record
for the highest pre-50th reunion participation with 84%.
The School would especially like to recognize the following reunion forms
for breaking Annual Fund reunion records for dollars and/or participation
in their reunion year:
1943 – 70th reunion record – $73,862
1948 – 65th reunion record – 75%
1953 – 60th reunion record – $97,746
1958 – 55th reunion record – 87% / $87,961
1973 – 40th reunion record – $193,533
1983 – 30th reunion record – $351,313
1988 – 25th reunion record – $341,141
1993 – 20th reunion record – 84%
1998 – 15th reunion record – 70%
Success of the Annual Fund is the direct result of the many alumni, parents,
and other friends who contribute generously to the School each year. The
School extends its thanks to them and to the numerous volunteers for their
hard work and dedication.
