3 We Did It! Message from the Campaign Chair The Building Character/Character Building campaign has already made a tremendously positive impact on Greenwood students and staff alike. Students have won a championship in the new gym, mounted two productions in the performance theatre, spent many hours studying in the Learning Commons and strengthened friendships in new social spaces. The Centre for Teaching and Learning ensures that Greenwood teachers continue to grow as educators, and to discover innovative ways to use the school’s beautiful new facilities. These wonderful opportunities would not have been possible without the support of our entire community. I’m deeply grateful to the many Greenwood parents, past parents, grandparents, alumni, staff and friends who helped us to reach our ambitious campaign goal of $30 million. A strong culture of philanthropy is what made the Greenwood experience possible; your generosity has built on these firm foundations to not only break new ground in education, but to prepare the Greenwood students of today and tomorrow for success in our changing world. On behalf of my fellow volunteers on the Campaign Cabinet, I would like to thank you for supporting Greenwood. Your contributions have made an extraordinary vision a reality.
