Monday night, June Gth, the Jlop C'omruittcc gave its final dance of the year, in the Barksdale Gymnasium. The gym- nasium was beautifully and tastefully decorated. The scheme of decoration seemed to be constantly changing. This seem- ing change was effect<'cl by an artistic manipulation of the lights. The Altoona Six, of Pcnnsylnmia, furnished de- lightful and inspiring music.
J\Iiss Andrews served punc-h, which ,\·as pronounced to be excellent.
The chaperones were Bishop and Urs. n. C. Jett, ~irs. Goldsmith, Mrs. Branham, :?lliss Andrews, ~Irs. ~foses, Mrs. lfichael, :Mrs. Duke, :Mrs. 2\Jarsha11, J\Jrs. Stroud.
Much credit is due the llop Committee for their untiring efforts to make this dance the best of the year. We congrat- ulate the IIop Conm1ittre upon its great success i11 all the dances it has given during the year.
Strother Randolph and Jolm Hitchcock are also deserving of praise for they are re::-ronsible for the dC<'orations of this dance and also of the other dances of the year.
