E. P. Crockett, '19, was recently ekctcd to rocmbcr$hip to tho Circle, an honorary society at Washington and J~cc. This election is possibly the highest campus honor at this institution, and we should all be proud of :Mr. Crockett's success.
llanison Christian, '19, gave a concert J'Ccital in Lynch- burg at the Academy of :Music during the Easter vacation. Tho recital covered a wide ra11ge of difficult and dramatic numbers, all of which were rendered splendidly. V. E. S. shottld consider herself fourtunate in having such an able representative on her alumni rolls.
Craik Speed, '21, after a stormy and exciting experience on the S. S. Aquat·ius bas given up the sea-at least temp- orarily, although we believe his letters give signs that the son has him in her lure and it will not be long before he is on the ocean again.
Spencer Buckuer, '22, who is with the U. S. Geodetic Service, expects to be stationed in Maine for the remainder of this year.
It is with deep regret that we report the demise of Wise Smith's famous dog. Wc tender our sincerest condolences.
