V. E. So WALKS
OVER FISHBURNE
The indominatable Virginia Epis- copal track team continued its great season by winning a substantial vic- tory over Fishburne, 101-16, on Fri- day, April 30. The Waynesboro school was able to take but one first place, when St. Claire broad jumped 19 feet, 11 inches. :McCormick, by
first in the hundred and two-twen- ty cinched his letter, while Deyerle with the javelin and Young in the high jump did the same thing. Gol- dy gathered 17 points and was the high point man of the meet. Jim- my Day was second with 12, and Mc- Cormick a close third with 11. Gold- smith again broke the much frac- tured shot record when he hurled the sphere H feet, 5 1-4 inches. This, as the last dual meet, seemed
to forecast the victories that were to come in the South Atlantic meet and at Charlottesville.

It seems as though all the congre- gations in the country are anxious to hear .IIIr. Baker preach before he
leaves Virginia. His last journey was to Lexington on Sunday the first where he preached in.the Robert E. Lee llfemorial church. On Slrnday the 16th he is scheduled to preach in Amherst, Va.
In Mr. Baker's absence on the 1st the Reverend Arthur 1\.insohing of the UniYersity of Virginia preached here.
