On Friday, February 7th, ~he Virginia Episcopal School J un_10r Quintet defeated t h e Farnmlle High School Varsity 29-12 in the Barksdale Gymnasium. The out- come of the game was never in doubt
and Coach Strader used a large num- ber of his reserves. W orthington, V. E. S. forward led the attack on the basket, garnering thirteen points during the contest. Venable and Hamlet were high scorers for Farm- ville with four counters apiece. La- Lance played well for V. E. S. on the defense as did Holberton, W. Line-up and Summary.

a nice one from the center of the floor. Harris, C., then got one from
under the hoop. Bucy Harris then followed this with two more, one from below the basket and one from the ring. LaLance then put in one from about the foul line which Poe followed with one from under the net. The ball was near the V. E. S. basket in the possession of Poe as the gun sounded the half.
