Saints kicked and in three tries the Garnets took the ball over for th6

for the score. Banff was tackled behind the line of scrimmage in his :1ttempt to run the ball over for the
extra point. The Saints received the
kick-off, and, on being held, punted on the third down. After the Bi shops had netted twenty-five
yards and two more first downs, the quarter ended with the score 12-0 in favor of V. E. S.
After an exchange of punts, the ball being in possession of the Gar- net and White eleven, LaLance
took fifteen yards off right tackle
for another first down. Bost was sent in to relieve Edmunds at hali back at this point of the fray. La-
Lance kicked to Pendleton who was downed in his tracks. An attempted pass on the next play was inter-
cepted by Bost. A pass from La· Lance to Formwalt was good for twenty yards and a first down. Af-
ter two plays which gained two yards, LaLance gained another first down, slashing off tackle for twelre
