brain is a medium through which human behavior functions. If the musical instrument is broken, the music is marred. So, if the nervous system is injured, behavior is af- fected.
Emphasis was put on the extreme intricacy of human behavior and of the human being. In biology we learn that no two things are alike. In the world of man's behavior this is even truer in that there are so many more possibilities of indivi- dual differences. Twins who seem exactly alike soon show variation in bodily development, but even more variation in mental activities.

some form of exercise for the re- maining boys in school during the winter months. A few students are running cross country. To give the other boys a chance to secure some form of exercise, compulsory calis- thenics are given daily.
This group meets at 3:30 P. M., on the tennis courts, and takes set- ting-up exercises. At present Dr. Randolph is their instructor, but Mr. Z. V. Long is to take charge of the body soon.
First a roll call is taken, and then the exercises are given over an ex- tended period of fifteen minuteS! or more. This form of exercise has met with hearty approval of the student body as a whole.
