Revenge is Sweet
LYNCHBURG, VA., MAY 12.-
Never behind, the Bishops of V. E. S. took a contest from Woodberry Forest here today. Robbie Lee, ace Bishop hurler, scatt~red ~even hits well and was never m senous trou- ble. Lee received plenty oi help from his teammates in the hitting department. The Bishops collected twelve hits off Moore and F lowers, two triples, and two home runs.
It was Moncure who walked away with the batting honors. IIe pounded out a home run, a triple, and a single in four trips up. Lee also knocked a homer and a single.

The Pendulum Swings
W ell, the V. E. S. baseball team has finally pulled a rabbit out of the hat and broken its jinx. For the last two years the Bishop team has failed to break into the win column, but this year something has hap- pened, and the team has c?me across with a record of four wms for ten starts. Not much, but a step in the right direction.
The team this year is definitely an example of the proverbial "hot and cold" type. It has played good ball at times, but at times has done a remarkable job of messing up the deal. Considering the fact that Co-Captain Billy Long and Letter- man Edgar Betty have been cut out of the line-up, the team has done remarkably well.
