E~ections, Spring and Fall
On Sunday, June 3rd, the "V" Club held o meeting for the purpose of electing officers for the 1946-47 session. The results of this election were: Lewis M. Armistead, president; J. W. Ballou, Jr., vice-president; Al- bert S. Kemper, secretary; Edgar R. Betty, treasurer; and Perrin Gower, sergeant-at-arms. Because of reasons beyond his control, viz., the execution of the U. S. Draft law which pre- vented Betty's return to school, the election of o new treasurer became necessary. Thomas H. Maddux, a re- turned ex- serviceman- alumnus, was
chosen for this post.
On the night of September 17, the
old boys assembled in study-hall to choose from their number the tradi- tional four-man General Athletic As- sociation and three-man Hop Com- mittee. Those chosen as members of the former organization ore J. W. Be1llou, Jr., president; T. H. Maddux, vice-president; A. S. Kemper, secre- tary; T. H. Allen, treasurer; for the latter: L. M.
