1942
Robert L. Hunter of Recife, Brazil,
and Norfolk, Va., was married to Miss Ann Everett Darden of Virginia Beach, Va ., in November. Hunter is now with the National City Bank of New York in Brazil.
1944
Allen Magill of Lynchburg, Va., saw
the V. E. S. game here on November 18.
1945
Gwynn Townes who is now attend·
ing the University of Virginia visited his alma mater several times during November.
1947
Lewis Armistead also a Cavalier
attended the game here on Novem ber 18th.
Phillip Harmon, a V. P. I. student, came by V. E. S. during November and also on December I0.
1948
Joe Cherry, another U. V. man,
dropped by the school on the week- end of December II.
George Lewis, who has been at- tending the University of Virginia, recently was among those at the foot- ball game here on November 18.
Jack Murray, of Virginia Beach, Va., also came by V. E. S. recently.
1949
Brown Finch and John Watts, two
of the North Carolina boys who spent a part of the weekend of December I here, and Tom Waller, of V. P. 1., Fred Ogden, who recently attended the U. V., saw the November 18 foot- ball game here.
1950
Earl Johnson and Jack Stoughton,
who are going to school in North Carolina, visited V. E. S. recently.

Mr. Charles E. Gerould of Franklin, N. H., recently returned to V. E. S. of:er an absence of 32 years. Mr. Gerould was one of our first faculty members and was with the school from 1916-1918. In 1918 he left to ioin the A. E. F. Today Mr. Gerould ·s the assistant secretary of the Frank-

James G. Hunter, who now has a

son in V. E. S., was at the football game here on November 18. He is now an official with the Norfolk and Western Railroad in Bluefield, W.Va.

George W. Barlow, father of
young G e o r g e now in school here, olso ottended the game on Novem- ber 18. He now operates the Barlow Motor Co. in Charlottesville.

L. Alexander Vance, who once studied at V. E. S., is now an X-Ray specialist in Lynn, Mass.
1936
Robert D. Baskervill was married to
Miss Jane Douglas Gibbs on Decem- ber 2, in New Bern, N. C.
1937
John Owen of Lynchburg was
among the alumni who attended the football game here on the 18th of November .
1941
Lucius S. Nottingham, Jr., of
Lynchburg, Va., was married to Miss Saville Morris of Jacksonville, Florida, on the eighteenth of November.
