sisters, t h e Misses Ethel a n d Hallie Jett. The plaque reads as follows:
by hand all of the shade trees on our now very beautiful campus. There are no better words which can now be used here than those of the last verse of the V.E.S. Hymn, Dear Old V.E.S., which the boys sung in honor and memory of Bishop and Mrs. Jet+, "our parents," at the close of morn- ing chapel Thursday, May seven- teenth.
' God bless all who are here, Have been or will be here, May they forever love
Old V. E. S.
God grant thy spirit lives Firm in our hearts, and gives Fine men, and God bless thee Old V. E. S."
