Bishops Win 7-1
Sox Sibley veritably batted and pitched his way to a 7-1 triumph over Miller School. The Bishop hurler al- lowed only three hits and struck out seven cadets. In addition, he clouted a three run circuit clout in the fifth.
His teammates backed him with a six-hit attack, although committing five errors, two by Sox himself.
Bishops Bow Out In I Ith, 8-7 Gene Riggle of Fishburne ployed
the hero's role and clouted a bases emptied, two out, homer in the I Ith inning to edge the Bishops 8-7.
It was the old, old story as the ca- dets piled up five runs m the first inning. The Bishops held on tenaci- ously, but to no avail. It was the Bishops' second overtime setback.
Sox Sibley, who relieved starter " Blank" Hughes tn the first frame , was tagged for the loss, while Corky Burdette copped the win.

Farinholt Wins I 1-5
Blair Farinholt shook off some early inning jitters here and, although al- lowing t e n hi t s, held t h e Brookville nine scoreless until the seventh, when they pushed across thei r fifth run. Farinholt struck out three, allowed two bases on balls, and chalked up a win, 11-5.
Fred Schilling was big man in the Bishop batting department with a triple, two single:; and five RBI's.

Bishops Blow Twin Bill First Game 14-2
Woodberry pushed across five runs in the first frame to subdue the fight- ing Bishofs 14-2, behind the four-hit hurling o Cann. Sibley was credited with the loss.
Second Game 4-0
Cann and Evons twirled a one- hitter to shut out the Bishops 5-0. The Bishops' love knock was a single by Bill Stokes. Blair Farinholt was the loser.

YOUNG MEN
St. Christopher's School baseball team edged the hapless Bishops out in the ninth frame, I0-9. It was the fourth setback by one run for the Bishops.
The Saints collected ten scattered hits, all of them singles, while V.E.S. chalked up six, among which was a triple by Blair Farinholt and doubles by Milton Barber (2) and "Hose" Mc- Clure.
Farinholt and Sox Sibley shared the hurling for V. E. S., while Siersema and McCallum were on the mound for the Saints.
The Saints exploded for two runs in t h e big ninth when Light singled, Bowles walked, and Steve Richard- son was hit by a wild pitch. Where- upon Forinholt threw a wild pitch and the winning run was scored.
The Fishburne Military School nine rang up twelve runs in the first three innings to subdue the fighting Bis- hops, 13-6.
Blair Farinholt gave up II hits in his 2 and % inning stint and was sub- sequently relieved by Sox Sibley, who did an admirable, but fruitless job, striking out the last five men to face him qnd allowing only one hit in 5
and Y.J innings. But to no avail.
