David Duncan Wallace
"Brillo" migrated to Lynchburg from Richmond last year to lend a more dignified touch to the beloved 160. He's had trouble with his grades in that he can't sink them below 90 regardless of continued effort. David is a letterman and a member of the V-Ciub, proficiently guiding the Var- sity Baseball team to the State Cham- pionship title this spring. "Brillo" is another one of our expert bridge players and is consistently seen tak- ing top money in the fierce games that take place in the "Rec Room:" HisĀ· behavior earned him a room 1n the gym, a much sought-after goal.
David furthers his loyalty to the state by planning to enter V. M. I. next fall.
Judging from his past, it's easy to predict that he will be an immediate success, regardless of his choice. Good luck!
William Scott Russell, Jr.
Soggy has been here for three years now. His accomplishments have not been few. Besides being Butler's roommate he has made ex- cellent grades, played varsity basket- ball, and he is one of our best golf- ers. This year he is the school's post- master and has achieved marbled success at calling out the mail "fast- er and louder" than any of his pre- decessors.

"Sam" has been a m~mber of the J.V. Club for years and this year he was elected vice-president.
Almost as numerous as Scott's ac- complishments are his aliases. He will answer to "Soggy," "Sam," "Scotty," and the various combina- tions of these names.
This June marks the end of Scott's career here at V.E.S. Next fall Wash- ington and Lee will be the fortunate college. As much as we hate to see Soggy leave us, we are sure he w.ill enjoy success at W. & L.

ger wonders at all this activity, and just then he sees a motorcycle calva- cade wander, confused, around the school. The Green Hornet manages to keep the inmates from tanqling with the motorcyclists though. Flash, Waiter, and Sog all look very satis- fied. Tuninq in the wrestling matches, he spots "The Masked Bull" taking on all comers. Laas cheers him on. The Celestial Sot is about to knock off for
his before dinner nap, when he spots a broken-hearted soul crying his eyes out, and helping to fill up Judith Creek. As he's getting ready to leave, he spots a little white curly dog wan- dering up Williams Road. singing about "His Friend Bill." That's too much for the O.A., so he eels over to the Venus Bar for a quick one for the road.
