''Guru.''
Ambition: To make varsity basket- ball after three years of J. V.'s.
Marshall has been at V. E. S. for three years and during this time has set a very high example as an athlete and student. He rates near the top in popularity. His accomplishments are many. When the counselor body was elected by the advisory vote of the student body and the faculty, "Whale" was elected a counselor which denotes his popularity in school. l ast year he played J. V. basketball and repeated again this year mak- ing him a member of the J. V. Club. He also played J. V. baseball his first year and last year played a little varsity ball. This year he is almost certain to get a varsity letter in base- ball. Hewy is also the sports editor
of the Meteor.
He will be moving on next fall to
college, much to our regret. All of o u r h o p e s will b e riding with you, Marshall, for a successful stay in what- ever institution you might choose.

the St. Mary's campus.
Pet hate: College history, four and five.
Pet love: Girls, weeds, and letters. Ambition: To win back Dibbie? This is David's third year at the
old grind, and in those three years he has climbed to the top. He is much liked and respected, and his grades are much better than aver- age. During his first two years he played J . V. baseball and J. V. foot- ball, thus making him a charter mem- ber of the J. V. Club of which he was elected treasurer.
He will in all probability make the varsity baseball squad this year. "D. A." was also a waiter last year, works at the school store, and renders his services to the Meteor whenever called upon. His congeniality makes him continuously tops in popularity. V. E. S. will certainly miss David when he graduates next June. We can all rest assured that he will continue to add to his good record, come col-
lege days next fall. We're expect- ing great things from "D. A.'' in the future and all eyes will be following him. Set some new records David, we're behind you all the way.

Richard has been roaming these grounds for two years now and in that time, he has established a truly fine record. The setup of Prep School was hard at first for "Sabu," but determination and his willingness to work has put him near the top in his class. Last year Richard played J. V. baseball and football, and is a member of the J. V. Club. This year he managed varsity football and J . V. basketball and is certain to be one of the starting nine on the baseball team.
In his two years here Sabu has made himself liked by boys and masters alike and has enlivened many classes with his quick wit and ready humor.
W e'll miss Richard next fall, b u t we'll also pride ourselves in knowing a fellow who's going places. Good luck to you "Sab" in all of you r
future undertakings. Keep up the good work in college that you have done here and make a qood record for yourself.
