Name: Joseph Daingerfield Dulaney (Duals)
Born: In the faculty room.
Ambition: To make a pilgrimage to
see his old Dad "Deacon".
Usually Seen: Behind the counter in
Guru's basement bar.
Pet Love: Randolph-Macon College
for Women.
Joe has been around the campus for four years now and has ~een working very hard most of that t1me. This year marks the second year that 'Duals" has been a member of the counselor body, of the Hop Com- mittee, and of the V Club.
Joe's friendly personality has won him many lasting friends among both the students and the faculty.
Last year he lettered in varsity football ond threw the discus for the lrllck team and is assured of letter- "ng in both this year.
A conscientious worker, Joe is con- stantly on the Headmaster's List and tJ member of the study-out group.
Next year, he plans to enter Caro- lina and g o t h e way o f all g o o d V. E. S. boys. Everyone realizes that he will certainly be missed here and the whole school wishes him the best of all kinds of luck wherever he may be.

In Cliff's two years up here, he has earned many an honor. Last year he was a starting guard in football and got his letter. He proved a good guard in basketball and had one of the highest scoring averages. He saved many a game with his clever ball handling and coolness on the floor. When baseball season came, he

not be a three-letter man. He's proved to be a good counselor and ~ hard worker. He was elected presi- dent of the VClub and the G. A. A. and is also a member of the Meteor staff. He is a good-natured guy and we'll all shed a tear as he follows Nor- fleet, Jones, and "Goon" to THE university (U. N. C.) next year.

Two years ago, "Wedge" eeled onto this Old 160 and in that time he has made quite a name for him- self both here and with the local queens. Lettering his first year in J. V. Football, he was elected captain of the J. V.'s the next year, but was stolen by the varsity later o~ in t~e season because of his defens1ve abd- ity in the line. Last year, h_e lettered in varsity basketball and 1s sure to again this season.
Appointed counselor _last year, he is one of the two boys 1n school who has been on the staff for two years. Larry is alway_s on the H~ad~aster s List and invanably very h1gh 1n pop- ularity with the boys.
"Wedge" has also made quite a name for himself on the front cam- pus indulging in a few ~xtra-curricular activities. This spot wdl be hard for anybody to fill.
Next year La rry plans to slither down to Carolina and party with all the boys. The whole school will miss him and wishes him good luck there.
