THE OLE ASTROLOGER
Upon looking into my little incu- bator, I find a lot has hatched since the last issue. Looking carefully, I see Guru counting his pennies and Ed quite satisfied with just one.
Maybe Moose had a good idea at the Homecoming game. He couldn't see the scoreboard after the end of the first half.
Mus gets o threatening letter from the FOG, FROG, well, anyway the Goons, and is petrified. It looks as though the Meteor will have to open a Letters to the Editor department for its fan mail.
As I swing my telescope in Mc- Gee's direction, I see Rico ordering block orchids for the dance.
Craighill eels to Homecoming with- out a date. With an exclamation of wonder, the local queens sigh, "This j u s t i s n ' t like Fronk n o t t o h a v e a date ." Meanwhile, Ben Lee shows up with Miss Keysville, and Cyrano brings Hal with a letter from one of his Fishburne admirers, Red Eye.
In the bock seat of a station wa- gon, I see Byrum in a " bear" hug, but

"Kiss me Blair!" rang all over the school as our Marlon Brando made up for lost time with his 56 Cadillac girl.
There's a screech for the tires and "Possum" land~ his red mobile after a hot dote with that wonderful Mary Ann! "Gosh, she gets more beauti- ful every day!" Then he pays his kindest respects to ::,curvus Jervais- the most welcome of all alumni!
With the demerits flying last week- end and the tJUtumn leaves falling, I reckon Bickford and Co. will soon be raking away.
And, by the way, some of the cooler couples a t Homecoming:
"Cannon-Boll" and "The Black One."

Ross thought that there was a barbeque that night, so he brought his own pig.
Gunter was there too, showing off as usual.
Charles Caesar entertained at in- termission with chariot races on the front campus.
Everyone had a great time and we all hope that there will be another dance in the near future.

As we gaze at the dance floor, we see that Camden and E. Dulaney are coming up in the world. That old Plymouth rides pretty good, doesn't it, Tim?
Rico told me that the dance was boring. I wonder who else he told that to.
After o weekend of snowing his Roanoke steady, Jamison forgets that he's driving and gets caught flying low on his cloud of love. $14.50. Too bad.
And there's another cloud of smoke and a roar as Stith tries to time his car in the 100!

Wait a minute! I think I see the terror of the J. V.s! No, it's just Jay White, still managing the 130 Pound Team.
Well, after that, I guess I've seen everything, so I'm off to my little pink cloud before the Reusens fog swallows me up.
V Club Celebrates Hallowe'en With Informal Dance On Saturday Night
On October 29, the V Club held its second dance of the year in the little gym. Fat Man Rico, who thought up the idea, originally in- tended for it to be a costume dance (wonder why?), but it ended up as a sweater dance because the boys didn't have enough time to get any costumes.
Alex Chaffin, Cliff Towe, Larry Moye, and Joy White decorated the gym. The floor was covered with straw and there was a drunk dummy in the middle of the room.
Tay Byrum spent most of the time sitting in a dark corner with his date Roller-Bear.
