Team Exhibits Added Spirit, Determination
Following the EHS game was the 85 to 59 victory over Randolph-Macon Academy. As opposed to the earlier Tidewater defeat in which high-scorers Peebles and Peterson fouled out in the last three minutes, with the opposition edged within six points, the team led the scoring for most of the R-MA game. "Significantly," remarked Peebles, "the fast-break worked beautifully." Coach Bobby Lynch commented, "Most of all they had begun to run. That's when we started to win."
