Seniors Take Responsibility And Participate
"The seniors took it," as Gregory Prioleau said, best describes the way the seniors took the most active role in the school. There were few, if any, bodies within the school that did not have senior leadership. Officers of the Vestry, V-Club, Classical Society,
and Glee Club gave their talents to work in these areas. ·Thirteen seniors were counselors, all of whom assumed the new burdens of assisting the daily master-in-charge and of monitoring the study hall. Five seniors comprised the Honor Committee of 1969-70, the first H.C. to operate under a newly written and clarified Honor Code.
Perhaps the most valuable contribution of the seniors was the creation of the All School Council, which generated better communication among all elements of the school.
