Sophomores Show Unity,
Well-Roundedness In All Of School Life
This year's Sophomore Class proved to be very well-rounded, though about half of it consisted of new boys who were not as adjusted to V.E.S. life as were those who graduated from last year's Freshman Class. The tenth graders maintained a good academic average and also participated widely in all extracurricular activities. Sophomores played a big part in both publications and choir, two areas where tenth graders had not been well-represented in past years. These activities, as well as others, helped the class develop greatly and prepared them for facing the responsibilities of upperclass life.
