It is the day that we have anxiously anticipated for a long time. It is that day in which we shall step over a threshold from an existence of tranquillity to that of one in a busy world, from a small world to a larger one, from one set of challenges to a brand new set.
On that day we culminate the different aspects of our everyday lives at VES, and thus begin those of a life at a school of higher learning. For us, the day is the exit from the high school tunnel into that of college. We reach a fork in the thouroughfare of our scholastic journey, one road leading to a life in college, t he other leading to a life in which we will apply what we have learned in VES.
As we go forth into the world, every friendship we create, every challenge we face, will draw upon our experience we gained by coming here. So we stride forth into the world with courage and adventure, hav- ing made it through to Graduation Day.
