The little meglomaniac strides up and down the corridor with his black, polystyrene glasses and spits out obscef'lities in the form of numeri- cal data. lzod man with his button-down, girl friend walks behind him and tells you what a proper family he's from and how every hair is in place. The odd one, the tru~ is stabbed from behind and all who hide behind their khakis drain the life from him. A facade, as thin as a scrim prevails and only needs a light to ex- pose the background.
The tall, the statue. How I've wanted to tear away his financial fig leaf.
The admitter, the interviewer. He speaks with padded phrases.
The teacher, the contact, his books are his worth.
The dean, the hypocrite, a pharisee with a clip board.
The associate, the only true person with an Ivy league tweed and riddled body.
And me, glad I'm passing by.
