Ben Parrott at work?
The years at VES are filled with artistic opportu- nities. In addition to the strong choral tradition car- ried on by Mr. Blake with the Glee Club, Mrs. Rash has worked hard to improve the quality of arts and crafts at school. Foreign and artistic films are enjoy- ing greater popularity at VES, as are cultural events in the community such as concerts, recitals, dramatic productions, and speakers. There are a growing num- ber of electives available to students now. Mr. Sulli- van has established one of the only electronic music studies in the prep league. In the Spring Mr. Hopkins works hard with dedicated students to produce the annual thespian production. Whatever talents or'in- terests a student has in the arts, there is a place to express and fulfill them at VES, whether organized as in the Glee Club and classroom activities, or spon- taneous as with the various student and faculty groups which offer their talents to all.
