For the past four years, Robert Hunter Jackson, alias Pup, bas been flaunting around the school dressed like the Brooks Brothers Catalogue. On a nice day, Pup is seen around cam-
pus with his Weejuns.
Duck Head Khakis, and Brooks
Brothers shirt. He has, what the people call, t he 100 percent look. It has been quoted many times
Pup: They will just go a.long with the fad, they always do.
Lester: Will they make the tran-
sition with you?
Pup: Of course, the will, they ac-
tually think their clothes can assure themselves of a position
you haven't contacted all of them yet, feel about their Pup? Is he still the best?
Pup: Mr. Dacron, my women are
abundant, however; they all love me for one thing, and we all know
what that is! To be honest with you, most of my women never see me in clothes.
Lester: Will this effect the Bud-
dy Club in anyway?
·Pup: The B.C. is an exclusive
organization which is pillered on a purely academic foundation. The members, which are few, are rarely worried what they look like, it is all in the head. Take my recent award for the best looking all around athlete for an exam-

Lovers of Polyester Unite!
Our numbers are dwindling, the
preppie menace threatens! It has
come to my attention that we are in great danger of extinction, at
last count only four members of the student body and five faculty mem hers were clad in the coveted fabric. What has hap- pened? I remember the day when our ranks swelled to the glorious number of twenty plastic persons. The time has come tO act. We must follow the
example of our new foe and lead- · er Poly-Pup. He has blazed the new path, we must follow! I must
now report some bad news how- ever. One of our strongest mem- bers has That's rigbt, an all cotton shirt·was found in his closet just this week. He is none other than the infamous Bird. I'm sure this brings a fear
that, " Pup CLASS."
defines the word
It may interest all of you Pup· py Jackson fans that he has . never owned a polyester leisure
suit. He bas truly been a man of -
fashion and good looks. I say "bas" because Pup has made a complete transition. I looked in his closet the other day and he had burned all of his 100 percent
cotton clothes. Pup has willingly devoted his time to answer a few questions about this sudden change to polyester. What hap-
pened to the Pup we all knew and loved.
Lester: Mr. Pup, explain to us, your reasons for giving up cotton andgoingPolyester?Wasit peer pre8811l"e or love at firsh ite?
Pup: Actually I think my conver- sion to poly was brought on by curiousity. I think it all happened the day I put on my goalie shirt, "My lands," it could do anything and return back to its original
shape and bug." Good Godfrey, itwu
Lester: I understand that the transition was a spur of the mo- ment thing. Did you feel t hat you were letting people down?
Pup: No, actually I thilik my con- version hu made my admirers realize that versatility ac-
companies one with as much class as myself. Although my col- leagues will never be able to achieve the clau or style which I am identified with, their confor· mity to the •witch to polyester will a11ure them of their con· fidence in themselve1, as it did when they tried to rid them-
selve• from their inferiority by

The weekend of the four-

Pup: I really don't like to go into the matter; however, I will say that my expertise in the sport has fascinated many recruiters, although it is a far cry from
" hiking Mike's" world re- knowned fame.
Lester: My last question is a tough one? Do you really love polyester? Is it the sparkle it has, the flexibility in it that pleases y o u o r i s i t t h e r e li e f o f n o t h a v i n g

Pup: My fascination with t he miracle fabric is understandable,
you remember that it is my first contact with the foreign sub· stance. To tell you the truth, I just want to prove how trend set-
ting my attire can be. Ifyou don't
