SCIENCE CLUB
Only in its second year of existence, the Science Club had a bomming membership. A planned trip to the Smithsonian Institute was well received, and provoked interest throughout the community. Under the leadership of Erik Kern, the Science Club was an active part of the school. Hopefully its success will continue as it has this second year.
ADAC (Alcohol and Drug Advisory Council)
With Dr. Goodwin introducing the committee, the year began. Each member was a role model for the rest of the students. Backed by Governor Douglas Wilder and the National Drug-Free School Recognition Program Award, the committee held a certain respectability. Their influence was tangible right up until the last days, when letters were distributed before graduation night, urging stu- dents not to drink and drive. Thank you for your guardianship.
