Levester, Doug, and Eddie in action on the court!
!beVa.rsity Basketball Team finished the 92-93 season with a7-11 record. Victories were recorded over Woodberry, St. Cbrla, Fork Union, and Roanoke Catholic. Highlights of the ..son included capturing the annual Christmas Tourna- lllllt Cha.mpionship. Seymour Daffeh was named Tourna- lllllt MVP and senior Chad Carter was placed on the Tour- umant team. This season was a success with 11Jldarclassmen Mac Livingston, Boss Poe, Sam Crittenden, loey England, Bernard Reams, and Doug Finlay all gaining 'llluable experience. The team should enter next year ready andable to go.
Seasonal Awards went to team MVP Levester Thompson who finished the season averaging 15.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Defensive player of the year was Junior Bernard Reams. Most Improved was Jay Frazer and the Coaches' A ward went to senior Eddie Bell the union worker. Senior Bob Kluttz also was a strong competitor.
