First of all I'd like to thank my Mom & Dad (Sharon and A.W.) for all they have gone through to try and help me find the right place for me & help me gel through it. Ialso would like to thank my brother Martin (17), & sister Karen (15) for pulling up with me their whole lives, I know that! am not the easiest person to be around. I also want to thank my advisor, Gary Kufmann for all he has done to try and get me through this year. I have to recognize a very special friend (not a girlfriend) I have named Jennifer Dowdy who is a student at Salem College in Winston-Salem. I also want to put a good word in for some very special friends I have made here in Lynchburg. First, I have to thank the youth advisor of the youth group at the First Unitarian Church of Lynchburg. Bill Symonds & his wife, Anne as well as the other adult advisors, Betty & Michael Corbin, & Lauren Able. I must say that this group has been a great support place for me during my two years boarding here in Lynchburg. I put in a good word for Elaine Dameron, a friend I have made here in Lynchburg. And Mary. Henry & Francis Lee, a family that my mom has been friends with for years. They have been here for me when I have needed aid (especially, Henry, his is computer expertise). And then there are Jose' Vasquez & Jonathan Hubbell who have been here to help me up when I am down. And I must thank some counselors at VES for all they have done to gel me through my tough times: Andy Hobbs, Spencer Ross, Thomas Bass, & John Chandler. Don't let me leave out Mr. Eric Gamble for all of those Carolina games we watched together. I can't say enough about what Mrs. Mary Spencer did for me my first year here to get me through adjusting to VES. And let me close with a deep & humble appreciation for one very special person. who I think has allowed me to be where I am,
that is Pamela Lygon, who took on all of the problems I have had in two years here at VES & helped me find the solution. I'd never have gotten this far without each & everyone of you!!!

I would like to give a deep thank-you to my whole family, which supported me while attending school. I would also like to thank Mrs. Middleton who brought this school to my attention as wall as the IHADF for the opportunity to come here. The faculty was supportive of me, in class and out. I am grateful to all of the people with whom I became friends during my high school career, close or otherwise. Finally I thank Dios, " the Man Upstairs.' Have a nice day! '
