R. Ruffner Alexander, Jr.
We continue to be proud of you; our son, brother, nephew, grandson, brother-in-law and uncle. Didn't realize you had so many titles. We've watched you aspire from the struggling, premature, 6 pounder on February 12, 1984 who proved to be a gift from above. With much concern and prayer we've been blessed time and again with your smile, kindness and love. There has been some mischievousness here and there but all in fun and no one to compare.
We have memories applauding the first steps in diapers down the hall to the activities of swimming, soccer, ice hockey, kayaking, mountain climbing, skiing, camping, fly fishing, playing your saxophone in concert and marching back, track, lacrosse and football fields to wrestling. We cherish your growth from the . angelic acolyte to the rebellious choir boy in church, to one of the youngest Eagle Scouts at Troop 5, taking a journey to Chili alone and the experience in Philmont, New Mexico.
You would think that we would have tired from all ofthe car pooling and complaints of homework, but with the decisiop to go to YES and leaving the empty nest, you'll never know how you have been missed. We proudly attend your graduation in May,
2002 and look forward to watching you at WVU.
With much love,
Mom, Dad, Heather, Joe, Perry, Carrie, Jimmy and Bow Girl
