This year, the Passion of the Christ brought a lot of questions to the table dealing with religion. The Old and New Testament, World Religions, and C.S. Lewis classes that taught about the ideas in the religious philosophy really helped the questions that student had during the school year. Father Dunks helped many of the student become more involved in the Vestry, and even had students, like Chance Beasly, Meris
Dunks and the student body the chance to hear what religion is like from a students point of view. Mr. Gamble also helped to give some understanding to the chapters and versus in the Bible with his World Religions class
. and their trip to W ashington DC. Not only did student use the Bible to learn, but the philosophy of C.S. Lewis was used, and well as the stories by J .R.R Tolkein. The religions courses at VES really help the students discover what they want to beleives, and how they can go about beleiving it.
