My greatest appreciation goes out to my parents for putting up with me and carrying me through tough situations during my high school career. They have been with me every step of the way and for that I am most grateful. I could not have asked for anything more than the opportunity to attend VES. Their wisdom and support is unmatchable and I cannot express how much I love them. Mom, Dad with every ounce of gratitude I have, I thank you for your loving words, environment, and support that you have provided for me for the past eighteen wonderful years of my life. Now it is my turn to go out into the world, and the values you have instilled in me will guide me to success in and after college. Thank you very much. Blake, you have a long hard road ahead of yourself. Keep your head on straight and follow your own values. Your values alone will lead you to success. Be your own person and hang in there through schoo l. VES is a great place, take advantage of it and always remember to give thanks for the opportunity Mom and Dad have so generously given to you. Do not let others influence you, but you influence others. Nana, Ouma, Dick, and Beb's thank you so much for your support behind the scenes. Ya'll have had a huge impact on my life. Nana, I especially thank you for your words of wisdom and guidance, you are truly one-of-a-kind . You and Ouma are the best grandparents any kid could have. The friendships I made at VES will have a lasting effect on me. We have all suffered, laughed together, enjoyed the good times and struggled through the bad. Now we leave, but the memories will last forever.Thank you to all of you for your support and an amazing four years. Special thanks to: Stu, Chal, Mo, A-Train, Sua, Eric, Stong, Nick, Gill, Ca-ca Giles, Shledon, Higgs, and the whole senior class. The memories of the "High School" days will be vivid in my mind for the rest of my life. Thank you to all. Last but not least, Mr. McCormick. You are the most kind-hearted man I have met. I owe to you my deepest appreciati,on, for without your presence I truly do not know i f I would have made it. We have enjoyed the many good times, and also a few of the bad (Mr. Mcleod and the tobacco thing Haha), but no matter what occurred you were the one I could count on to be there with me and sure enough you were there with that big smile on your face. You are the man who had the most influence on me throughout my four years. To you I owe everything. My study habits and desire to read became a prominent aspect of my life after having tenth grade English under your command. God has blessed me with many things; one of them being yourself. Thank you so much and keep in touch. My experience at VES has been life changing. Thanks to all.
