Not a bad season. The 2008 track team finished the season as one of the most dedicated track teams In VES history. The boys finished out another excellent year with a conference championship while the girls boasted two state champions In juniors Korl Penick and Jessica Watkins. While track relies on lndldvldual effort, the 2008 VES track team showed a willingness to compete as a team to win championships.
