'!:2008 Winter Drama Production consisted of.~~· series of short plays written by a collection of contemporary American playwrights. Each ploy burst with humor, innovation, wit, irony, and sophistication. Every · volved had a role in
.the acting, directing, set design, and lighting design. Together. they became a well-oiled, self-sufficient machine. The show was so memorable, in fact, that the students were asked to do on encore performance the following week! From Tulula Lee May the Baptist Gourmet, to the unforgettable encounter in the Funeral Parlor, the DMV Tyrant, or in the audition room with The Role of Della, the audience was captivated! But of course, we can,t forget the spoofon doting and first- impressions ip the short piece, Sure Thing or the finale ofthe show, the musically fascinating Philip Gloss Buys a Loafof Bread.
