Wow. The last three years have been the fastest I've ever experienced. I'm sure I will not be able to compress my years at Virginia Episcopal School into this short statement, but I'll try my best to do so.
I came to VES as a sophomore, just as wild and crazy, probably a little bit less than I am now. But VES showed me the importance of relationships to the upmost. I can say that I have made life-long friends at this school, I've only known most of them for three years or so, but I feel like I've known these guys since birth. As for the faculty, y'all have not only been my mentors and teachers, y'all have been guides on my journey here at VES and my friends. Y'all have helped me so much; it just took three years for me to realize that. I probably owe most of the faculty here a few bottles of Tylenol for all of the headaches that I've caused you all. But all of you hung in with me till the bitter end, and I cannot thank y'all enough for that. Mac, you've been my advisor for the last three years, and you have done a damn good job, my family and I thank you for what you have done for me. Coach Jones and Mrs. Jones, I love you both so much, y'all have been too good to me. You've been my family here. You've watched me grow into the young man that I am now. I'll miss both of y'all so much. Hum bee baby.
Ahhh, now for my boys at VES. Where do I even begin with you guys. DA, CP, ZJ, KF, TM, JK, WB, BS, DC, TC, CW, AS, JC, LM, and don't think that I forgot about you Squid (K. So). You guys are my brothers, we have fought with each other at times, but mainly, we have lived and laughed together. You guys helped me make it through this school, and now we are here. There are way too many stories to even try to put into this little statement, so I won't even try to put them in here, I can't even put into words the times that we have all had together, there's just no way. I love you guys, we have done it, we have made it to the end of this road, now we are all turning onto the next one, I know I will see you guys again down the road from now. But until I see you guys again, all I can give y'all is the most sincere thank you that I can give.
VES, thank you so much for what you have given to me, which is an excellent education and thousands of even more excellent memories that I am fortunate to have for the rest of my life. I hope I have paid a sc;>mewhat decent homage to this everyone who helped me in my career at VES. There is no other school out there that can do what the Virginia Episcopal School has done for me. Thanks for the beautiful ride.
