Inger Hanson
writes: “This
past Christmas, I was reminded
of chorus days (and the brief
stints of when
Ben Bleiman
and I portrayed Mary and Jo-
seph) and tried to model my
new congregation’s Christmas
pageant after our SPS pageant,
with limited success. I think
the congregation loved it. I, of
course, still suffer frombeloved
memories of an 80-voice choir.
There is always an open invi-
tation for a place to crash in
Jackson, Wyo., if any formmates
find themselves exploring out
this way (the parsonage has two
guest rooms and a guest bath).”
Amy Britton
sends her fam-
ily update: “My husband and I
welcomed our third son, Holden
Grant Britton, who joins broth-
ers Landon Wade and Macallan
Thayer. We continue to enjoy life
outside of Washington, D.C.”
News from
Andrew Jarrett:
“My wife, Maggie, and I wel-
comed our first child on June 20.
Ruth Elizabeth Jarrett weighed
7 lbs., 3 oz. and measured
20 inches. We live in Denver,
where I work in oil and gas.”

Miller Resor
has been working
for the Spirit Guild, a startup
distillery in the Arts District
of Downtown Los Angeles.
The distillery released its first
run of Astral Pacific Gin just
before the New Year. Miller will
also be selling Rio Bravo olive
oil, made from seven varieties
of olives grown on his family’s
farm outside of Bakersfield, at
the Atwater Village Farmers’
Market. Check it out.
Elizabeth Scribner
and
Charles ’00
continue the en-
vironmental fight in Alabama.
They recently installed a 7 kW
off-grid, battery-tied solar
power system on their home,
which powers the majority of
their house loads. Their sys-
tem was featured in a short
documentary shown around the
state to promote solar power.
The technology is so impres-
sive that Elizabeth, along with
three other partners, is starting
a new solar power company in
Birminghamcalled Vulcan Solar
Power.
John Baumler
and his wife,
Nina, welcomed baby William,
who arrived at a surprisingly
large 9 lbs., 11 oz. His sister,
Madeleine, could not be more
pleased with him. They enjoyed
their first introduction to many
St. Paul’s friends at the wed-
ding of
Willie Evarts
this past
summer.
