Mosquito Fish
Gambusia affinis

Mosquito Fish so named because they feed on mosquito larvae. These fish grow up to 2½ inches and are capable of surviving in water with low oxygen content. They were introduced to the wetlands to reduce mosquitos in the area. They have proliferated extensively and seem to have been successful in their task.
