Dwarf St. John's Wort
Hypericum mutilum

Despite its name, this plant grows over two and a half feet tall. Both stem and inflorescence are highly branched, and the flowers are a quarter the size of Common St. John's Wort. It is frequently found in moist areas throughout eastern United States and Canada.

This plant is named after St. John the Baptist whose saint's day is June 24th.
