spirit is very apt to hnxe n. splendid code of honor. Honor is that pure spark which keeps manhood true. It is the essence of a gentleman. One may be poor, hut if he po:::»esscs honor he is 1·ich. So it is with a school. Each individual boy .should inscribe tho finest, truest parts of his character into his school, so that it, too, will come to ha\·e a distincti\·e character. The honor of a school is created by the student body, and it rests with them whether or no the school's reputation will always remain clean.
