Wo rccei,·ed tho ball at the start on our own 30-yard line, but lost no time in pushing down the field to Woodberry's 4.0-yard line. Whereupon, Loth, cxhiuiting a beautiful piece of broken field running, rushed the ball across the goal line. He failed tO kick goal. In the second period Woodberry l'c- covered a fumble on our 25-yard line, and shortly after, De- vine circled the end for a touchdown. }\(onntcastlc kicked goal.
During the second half the ball went up and down the field, with neither side being able to carry it o\·or. Wood- berry came dangerously near to our gonl, but were held for downs on our 10-yara line. Loth removed the menace by punting for a distance of 70 yards. Tho game closed with tho ball in our possession on Woodberry's 30-yard line.
The brilliant performance of Loth, added to Captain Lee's vicious line pltmging and Ellett's fine work in tho line, con- stitutedthegreaterpartofourattack. Golda~dDevineof Woodbeny showed remarkable ability in going through t.he line and around end.
