On .April 27th we went down mtder the Blackstone )Jili- tary Academy nine, the visiting aggregation blanking us by the score of 7-0. Thorne's superior pitching turned the trick, and although his teammate, did not greatly outhit the Y. E. S. batsmen, they bunchecl their safeties to better adv~ntage, thus scoring most of their nms. B. :M. A. scored their first
nm in the 3d and increa~ed their lead in the 4th and 5th. I11 the Gth session we threatened to score when Hudnall singled and reached 3d on ~ errors. But the ne::...-t two men went down via the sb·ike-out route and I.oth flyccl to Bixby for the final out. The liueup.s:
