It has frequently been maintained in the ('olnmns of this paper that it cannot be entirely a creation of the staff. That it sometimes has been may account for sontc of its defc('ts, and may be responsible for a certain sameness of form and stylo which have characterized each issue. To hope to produce TuE M ETEOR in its new form under such conditions would be even more disastrous in its results. Obviously, this must be an entirely cooperati,·e enterprise. If it isn't, the new maga- zine will have more shortcomings than the old hnd. Iu other words, here's nnoti1cr ('banco to show your school spirit in other ways than by keeping demerits up and averages down.
