church, that the pews were_supplicd with book racks.
April 28, tl1c nmch anticipated Sweet Briar dance took place. It would be impossible to describe the joy and fun. Just before the dnnce, as a hopeful omen, tl1e lights went out; but much to everybody's sorrow they rr,·i,·ed before the happy occasion.
