The Headmaster's Study
As the Christmas holiday ap- proaches with its thoughts of "peace on earth to men of good will," I am thinking of those V.E.S. boys who are defending the peace in the armed services of our country and I should like to believe that these lines will eventually reach them all. I should like them to know that we here at the School think of them often and remember them; that our good wishes go out to them, especially at this season, in their widely separated stations. Whether they are in this country or in the Far East or in Eu- rope, in tropical clime or in bitter cold, our thoughts are with them and our prayers go up that they may be kept safe from all hurt and evil, that they may in all things serve without reproach, and that through their ef- forts and sacrifices they may help restore a measure of peace to a war- weary world. In the midst of toil and danger, may each one find some happiness on Christmas Day.

His churches and the beautiful Christmas services held at this season of joy, when He entered the world to save us oil from our sins. If we let our minds ponder the life of our Lord and the sense of honor He intro- duced, at once through the minds of the V.E.S. students should shoot the thought of our much prized Honor System. When thinking of Christ and God our minds are filled with the ever important sense that it must be protected even at the highest cost, (Continued on poge 10, col. I)
