As Christmas draws near this year, Th e Me t e o r , i n k e e p i n g w i t h i t s policy of better news coverage, has sent out its Inquiring Reporter to make the rounds and to find out how its honored subscribers plan to spend the holidays.
While eeling around Club Harris on Third Main, I. R. discovers Zeke and his mob, composed of "Weed- seed" Camden, "Ack-Ack" Ashton, and 'Iron" Rudy Ourednik, making plans for a pilgrimage back to the hills of Kaintuck. Zeke is going to indoctrinate thoroughly the boys in- to the ways of the hillbilly. The great trio of Chico, Pancho, and Juan, much as they love each other, are forced to break up for Christmas.

Goon and "Bonch" say they're going to work on their History V term pa- per so Daddy Yo won't be mad at them. Various sounds have bugged I. R. up on the facts about the "Biggest and wettest ball of 'em all" that Patsy, BeBooping Bootie, Driver, Waiter, Alcobar are going to throw during the Dixie Classics. Matthews, Towe, and Mus are going to give each other cameras for Christmas, and Weasel plans to send Bells a Christmas card to insure his being the first V. E. S. boy ever to get on the Committee after only one year here. Bonny has told him he can't miss, and he believes her, naturally. The last person interviewed by I. R. before going up to pack was Syl- VESter Thrusmooton Ill, Esquire. SylVESter showed I. R. a picture of what he wants for Christmas and would like it to be printed for Santa's

Farinholt is likely t o g o t o Raleigh or Nag's Head; he hasn't decided yet. Gillespie and Craighill found that they liked it up here during Thanksgiving so they probably won't even go home. Daddy Lush is getting so used to pushing a baby carriage around the Lynchburg streets, he's likely to stay here too. Moye and he won't have too much trouble get- ting accommodations; Moye knows

Cannon claims there are too many wild beans around his neck of the woods and he'll be glad to get back to the "good Joes" at home. A. H. informs us that he'll be racing his Olds down dirt
