Mr. and Mrs. Gus Terry have an-
nounced the engagement of their daughter, Sue, to William V. (Buck) Nutt. The date of the wedding has not been announced.
William Howard Pitt was married on the 12th of June to Anna Red- ding, of Asheboro, N. C. It is re- ported that Howard, a former Duke star and Captain, will play for the Quantico Marines this fall.
Lloyd T. Smith, Jr. was here on October 29. He is a senior at U. Va.

Jack Thomas is going to Ecuador
for six months as an International Farm Youth Exchange Student. He has been at V.P.I. for three years studying animal husbandry.
Leonard Muse is in the service, just completed one year. He has done a lot of things in that short time. He has made a good soldier and has also done things in track. He plans to study engineering when his tour of duty is completed.
Horace Ray is on military duty in Japan.

Norfolk Academy game. He is at U. Va.
