Gibby Roe, playing his last home game at V. E. S. after six years, had a perfect day at bat with three hits. B:air Farinholt received credit of the win, but was relieved by Hardy Dil- lard in the fourth. Both pitched well.

Enthusiastic Crowd Sees
V. E. S. Down Episcopal 8-0
Blair Farinholt pitched no-hit ball as major league scouts watched to lead the Bishops over E. H. S.
The first few innings of the con- t e s t w a s a w i l d a f f a i r a s E. H . S . got men on base by virtue of walks, but Farinholt settled down and set the Maroons down swinging. All in all the big left-hander gave up 9 walks but offset these with 14 strikeouts.
The Bishops took advantage of walks and infield hits to score three runs in the first inning. In the later innings however the Bishops began to clout the ball to get their final 5 runs.
Towe and McGee led the Bishops with three hits apiece. The fielding of the Bishops was smoother than at any other time during the year.
