V. E. S. ENROLLMENT (*) Day Students
SCHOOL 1957- 1958
YEAR BOOK
(Continued from poge 3)
is to be mostly pictorial with ample articles on the major events of the year. There will be individual pictures of every student and pictures of the seniors will be accompanied by an outline of each one's activities dur- ing his stay at V. E. S., plus a short character sketch. The size and price are yet undetermined, but both will be within reason. It is planned to have the annuals completed and given out some time in May.
The editor-in-chief is Marc Hulswit, former co-editor of The Meteor, where he gained experience in edi- torial work. Assisting him will be Mr. Daniel and Mr. Lunsford, the faculty co-advisors. The staff, to be selected from those who have volunteered lo work on the yearbook, will be chosen by the editor-in-chief and faculty co- advisors.
BOARD MEETS
(Continued from poge 3)
The board also decided to intensify and strengthen the school's present program of Placement Testing, in order that new students may be more readily assigned to the grade in which they belong.
In addition, the Board examined and proposed to investigate plans for expanding the facilities of the school, so that V. E. S. will be able to serve parents and students more effectively in the future.
