In the next contest, at Appomat- tox, the team lost 37-25 as they got off to a bad start and never caught up. Appomattox controlled the backboards with their height, and were able to stave off a fourth quarter rally by the Baby Bishops. Wood was high scorer with 7, and Small got five. Guill hit IS for the Appomattox team.
The Glass game was a repetition of the Appomattox game, as the tremendous height of the opposing team could not be overcome. Their shooting was off, but they qot al- most every rebound. Glass turned the game into a rout in the second half, and won 45-21. Hicks scored

With a third of the '59 season gone, the IS and Under team has split even, winning two and losing two. Coached by Mr. Meador, the youngest team has defeated the Bedford freshmen, lost to Appo- mattox Jayvees, and the Glass fresh- men, and defeated Guggenheimer's in the city league.
The five starters for the team are Harrington and Hicks at Guard, Vandergrift and Small at forward, and Wood at center. Bloom and Birdsong are reserves.
In the first game of the season, the Baby Bishops defeated the Bed- ford freshmen a t Bedford 3 1-18. After taking an early lead, the team was never h e a d e d . Small was high scorer with nine points, and Harring- ton got eight. Denton led the Bed- ford scoring with four.

Looking for a victory, the team accompanied the varsity to A.M.A., where they were outscored by four roints in all but one quarter. The final score was 39-24. Flippin con - nected for I0 points to lead the Bishops, and Blaylock of AMA scored 21 of their 39 points-more than the difference in the scores.
