Vic's rotund little figure has been seen around V.E.S. for two years now. Last fall he played football. In the winter he wrestled as he did this year. Lost spring Vic broadjumped in track. For several seasons Vance has helped Mr. Montgomery with the CCC.
Vic is known for his snappy chatter and whenever the group gathers, Vance is in the middle instigating some wild doings. But on dorm, he behaves like a gentleman. He does not prowl about as has been said by others. Vic is one of the best liked boys in the senior class and will be missed greatly next fall.

Quirk is finishing his third yeor here. In his sophomore and junio y e a r , h e p l a y e d J . V . f o o t b a l l . Th" past fall he lettered on the varsi~ team. For two springs, Kirk manage~ the J.V. baseball team. This year h' lettered in soccer where he was ' starting lineman.
Last year he received a Latin prizf for two years of excellence. Kir recently won o Dupont scholarsh·" from U. Va. but decided to turn · down in favor of Washington & Lee.

Dave is another two year man. By being a staunch CCC member, he has plenty of time to correct the flaws in all the school's math books. Two winters ago Dave was the start- ing center forward on the soccer team.
In the spring, Tarzan is among the many sun-worshippers that take to Teague's porch during sixth period and the afternoon.
When Dove leaves V.E.S. this year, he leaves a trail of broken hearts that stretches across the state. He plans to enter the NCS engineering school.
