ROBERT SHANDS HEALD LYNCHBURG, VA.
Bobby Heald has been quite a addition to the P.G. pro- gram. After his graduation from the elementary school (E.C. Glass) across the tracks, Bob joined the great Class of '65 to get a good secondary school education. He was quickly taken into the exclusive society of the Old 160, and
he has contributed much to it.
A born athlete, Bobby was a member of the post gradu-
ate one-two punch. Even though Bobby was outstanding in basketball, his true love is tennis. He is well known throughout the state for his playing ability and for his sportsmanship in tennis tournaments, and he has lead the VES tennis team to devastating victories over highly favored opponents. A further note on Bobby's tennis accomplish- ments: he is currently mmzber 011e in Virginia in the 'eighteen-and-under' division, and he has achieved more consecutive wins than anyone else ever achieved at his old school, (E. C. Glass) .
After Bobby has finished his greatest (and sadly enough, his only) year at VES, he plans to attend The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, or George Washington University in Washington, D. C.
