A fine product of Miami Beach, John appeared at VES four years ago, enlightening the spirit of all. He has had no problems in adapting himself to school life, although he has been known to abandon the campus from time to time for brief visits to his Lynchburg admirers. Whenever this could not be arranged, he has added to his fame by finding shrewd ways of getting them onto campus.
John's highly optomistic character has furnished a great tension-reliever for frequent trying situations.
While maintaining satisfactory school marks, John has used his extra-curricular time profitably by contributing to the year book and to the newspaper. Any one of his sports articles is a clear example of originality and good style.
John has been a two-year Monogram Club member. With- out overloading his schedule, he had found time to leave a memorable mark on the athletic fields. After starting on the freshman baskelball team, John played J.V. baseball and football for two years. He has played on Varsity teams for two seasons. In his in-between seasons, he could be found in the weight room, or at a Varsity basketball game, as a cheerleader.
Unless influenced by his friends to attend The University of Virginia, John will go bach south, where the UniversitJ of Florida awaits him.
